201109 Exploration Trip to Southeastern Yunnan with Mr. ZONNEVELD Duco & Party

During the period from September 19 to October 01, Duco, Johannes and Esther from Holland followed us into southeastern Yunnan. With smaller size of group, we enjoyed more flexibility on the way, did a lot of random stops for stretches, taking photos or short visits to villages. This was an itinerary combined with both scenery and exploration into different ethnic groups living along the border, we enjoyed nice natural view along unbeaten route, visited different ethnic minorities at remote places and saw quite many colorful markets in the countryside, for most time we were crossing non-tourism areas, no good hotel, no good restaurant, nor good roads, occasionally we even had to jam into a local mini van......but inborn optimism of Dutch easily turned an adventure trip into a relaxing one!
